Kent Poole College and Career Success Coach - Westinghouse kent@pittsburghpromise.org Kent is a proud native of the DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia), who has been living in Pittsburgh since 2007. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Sociology with a concentration in Psychology. Kent has a passion for people and a desire to pour into young adults that he has prioritized throughout his working career. He has previously served as mentor for college students at the University of Pittsburgh and Duquesne University from 2013-2019 and worked as a teacher for The After School Place through Allegheny Center Alliance Church in the North Side from 2014-2015. Kent worked as a Senior Youth Coach for the 412 Youth Zone from 2019-2024 where he supported numerous transitional age youth throughout the greater Pittsburgh area in achieving their Independent Living Goals. He earned his Strength Based Family Worker credential in 2021.
