Promise Advisor

Braná is serving a ten-month placement role at The Pittsburgh Promise through the Coro Public Allies leadership program as an AmeriCorps Apprentice. She graduated from Pittsburgh CAPA in 2013. Following graduation, she attended Clarion University and received her bachelor’s degree in Communications in 2017. In her early career, Braná spent time in Pittsburgh Public Schools, serving as a substitute teacher. She also served at the Board of Education’s Magnet and Assessment Offices. Recently, Braná spent two years as a Heinz Fellow through the Center for Urban Education and worked with students at Pittsburgh University Prep, Miller, Weil, and Obama. Braná hopes to continue her knowledge and understanding of non-profit organizations through her time here at The Promise.
