Lauren Bachorski Director of Communications lauren@pittsburghpromise.org Lauren brings expertise in strategic communications, organizational strategy, and public engagement to The Pittsburgh Promise. As Director of Communications, she leads the organization’s brand, messaging, and communications strategy, helping advance its mission of expanding educational opportunity and preparing students for success beyond high school. She works closely with executive leadership to shape organizational strategy, strengthen community and donor engagement, and communicate The Promise’s role as a permanent partner in student success. Lauren is driven by the pursuit of economic and social justice. Before joining The Promise, Lauren led legislative, electoral, and advocacy campaigns for SEIU, the nation’s second-largest labor union, and served as a consultant for the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh’s sustainable funding initiative. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business and French from the University of Pittsburgh.
